The EY-Parthenon Ringvaart Regatta started as a special event between the two rivalling rowing clubs Njord and Laga. The immediate cause for rowing the first EY-Parthenon Ringvaart Regatta was the 100th anniversary of the D.S.R.V. \u201cLaga\u201d. Making it no accident that the length of the regatta is 100km. The route leads from Leiden onto the Kaag, then round the Ringvaart, until the Kaag is passed once again on the way to Leiden, Leidschendam and finally Delft. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
