Deelname is mogelijk door iedereen, vanaf 18 jaar.
1.2
Het maximum aantal deelnemers ligt op 170 boten. De toelating geschiedt op volgorde van inschrijving. Na 170 inschrijvingen komt een ploeg op de reservelijst, waarna er gekeken wordt of er nog voldoende capaciteit is voor deze ploegen. Het maximum aantal 8’en ligt dit jaar op 50 boten. Na 50 ingeschreven 8’en komen de volgende 8’en op de reservelijst, waarna er wordt gekeken of er nog voldoende capaciteit is voor deze 8’en.
1.3
Inschrijving geschiedt via de website inschrijvingen.knrb.nl vanaf 12:00 uur 29 maart 2024 tot 23:59 uur 29 april 2024. Wijzigingen aan de inschrijving worden geaccepteerd tot 23.59 uur 29 april 2024. Deelname is alleen mogelijk na betaling van het volledige inschrijvingsgeld. De betaling dient voltooid te zijn voor 23:59 uur 16 mei 2024.
1.4
Restitutie van het inschrijfgeld is niet mogelijk. Uitzonderingen kunnen worden gemaakt indien de organisatie vaststelt dat er sprake is van overmacht. De organisatie heeft hierin het recht om inschrijfgeld te retourneren of niet.
1.5
De volgende geslachtsklassen worden uitgeschreven: Mannen. Vrouwen. Mixed. De ploeg bestaat uit evenveel mannen als vrouwen. De stuur wordt hierbij niet meegerekend. Vrije samenstelling (voor bepaalde boottypes). De ploeg bestaat uit een willekeurige combinatie van mannen en vrouwen. Indien de ploeg uit minder dan 50% vrouwen bestaat en er geen vrije samenstelling is voor het nummer waarin gestart wordt, zal de ploeg deelnemen in het mannenklassement.
1.6
Elke ploeg dient te starten in het boottype waarin zij zijn ingeschreven.
1.7
Door deel te nemen aan de OC&C Ringvaart Regatta wordt er akkoord gegaan met het delen van gegevens met de KNRB.
2. Boot
2.1
De boot moet dinsdag 28 mei worden afgeleverd aan de hand van een door de organisatie gemaakte dagindeling (in geval van de reservedatum zal dit dinsdag 11 juni 2024 zijn). Boten die later worden afgeleverd dan dinsdag 28 mei 2024 18:00 uur (in geval van de reservedatum, 11 juni 18:00 uur) zullen worden uitgesloten van deelname zonder restitutie van het inschrijvingsgeld. Mocht u niet in staat zijn aan deze eis te voldoen dan wordt u verzocht zo snel mogelijk contact op te nemen met de OC&C Ringvaart Regatta organisatie. De ploegen zijn zelf verantwoordelijk voor het afladen van de boten. Hierop gelden de volgende aanvullingen: Wanneer een boot dient te worden overgeroeid naar de startlocatie en er worden weersomstandigheden voorspeld waarbij het niet veilig geacht wordt om op dinsdag 28 mei te roeien, behoudt de organisatie het recht om deze ploegen hun boot op een ander gespecificeerd tijdstip te laten afleveren. De organisatie behoudt het recht om boten op het startterrein te verplaatsen ten behoeve van het versoepelen van de startprocedure.
2.2
Een ploeg dient zelf zorg te dragen voor een boot en toebehoren. De organisatie is niet verantwoordelijk voor aangebrachte schade tijdens de toertocht.
2.3
De boot zal worden gekeurd bij het te water gaan op 29 mei 2024. De organisatie behoudt zich het recht een boot uit te sluiten mocht deze niet voldoen aan de eisen die hieraan zullen worden gesteld. Mocht de Ringvaart op de reserve datum plaats vinden, dan zal het keuren plaatsvinden op 12 juni 2024.
Elke boot dient minstens twee sets lampjes bij zich te hebben voor wanneer de boot in het donker het laatste stuk vaart. Dit moeten voor (wit) en achter (rood) lichten zijn.
3. Wedstrijdverloop
3.1
De ploeg dient ten minste één verantwoordelijke te hebben die de ploeg op de wal volgt. Het telefoonnummer van deze persoon dient bij de organisatie van de OC&C Ringvaart Regatta bekend te zijn.
3.2
Bij uitvallen of terugtrekking tijdens de wedstrijd, dient de verantwoordelijke dit mede te delen aan de wedstrijdleiding. Ploegen dienen dan nog steeds verantwoordelijkheid te dragen voor het materieel.
3.3
De boeg draagt gedurende de wedstrijd kleding met signalerende kleur (bijvoorbeeld een fluorescerend geel shirt/hemd).
3.4
De boten krijgen een individuele starttijd. De tijden worden bekendgemaakt via de site op 17 mei 2024.
3.5
Ploegen melden zich tijdig voor de startprocedure op de opgegeven starttijd, zoals gecommuniceerd door de organisatie. Het te laat komen aan de start kan beboet worden (€20 voor skiff, tweeën, drieën en vieren en €50 voor achten) en eventueel uitsluiting tot gevolg hebben.
3.6
Te allen tijde gelden de aanwijzingen van vrijwilligers op de kant boven de hier genoemde regels. De aanwijzingen van vrijwilligers moeten te allen tijde opgevolgd worden.
3.7
Mocht u na zonsondergang (21:40 uur) nog roeiende zijn, dient u een wit rondom schijnend licht te voeren. Het is daarom vereist om lampjes voor op de boot mee te nemen.Boten die na 21:40 uur onverlicht varen zullen gediskwalificeerd worden. Eventuele boetes zijn voor eigen rekening.
3.8
De start zal plaatsvinden op woensdag 29 mei 2024 vanaf 5:30 uur volgens het tijdschema dat op de site zal worden gepubliceerd onder het kopje veldindeling.
3.9
Een opgelopen ploeg mag de oplopende ploeg niet hinderen en moet tijdig wijken zodat de oplopende ploeg vrij is haar koers te kiezen. Veiligheid en sportiviteit dienen bij zowel de opgelopen als de oplopende ploeg de doorslag te geven in de wijze waarop zij elkaar bejegenen.
3.10
De finish moet geschieden voor 00:00 uur in de nacht van 29 mei op 30 mei 2024.
3.11
De organisatie behoudt zich het recht voor een ploeg uit te sluiten indien zij in de ogen van de organisatie de eindtijd niet gaan halen. Dit is in ieder geval als de ploeg stopplaats C3 Lisse verlaat na 18:00 uur en stopplaats C4 (Café Ut Dobbertje) verlaat na 19:00u. Ploegen moeten dan de wedstrijd staken en afmeren R.V. Iris (C3) of bij A.L.S.R.V. Asopos de Vliet (C4).
3.12
Indien volgploegen zich niet aan de verkeersregels en/of aanwijzingen van organisatie en betrokken instanties houden en daarmee de continuïteit van het evenement in gevaar brengen, kan de organisatie besluiten de betreffende deelnemende ploeg een tijdstraf te geven of te diskwalificeren en uit de wedstrijd te nemen.
4. Route
4.1
Het traject kent verschillende obstakels zoals lage en/of smalle bruggen en een sluis. De brughoogtes en breedtes zijn te vinden in het wedstrijdboekje op de site onder het kopje wedstrijd vanaf 30 april 2024. Stuurlieden dienen deze hoogtes en breedtes te kennen en te weten of hun ploeg hier onderdoor kan varen zonder bukken.
4.2
Langs de route zullen verscheidene rustlocaties worden gerealiseerd. Per locatie mag er voor maximaal 40 minuten worden aangelegd. Dit is vrijwillig en de kloktijd zal dan ook bij elke stop doorlopen. De enige stop die hierbij afwijkt is Leidschendam. Hier kan iedereen maximaal 40 minuten pauze nemen. Zo lang de ploeg pauze neemt, wordt de tijd stil gezet, besluit de ploeg eerder verder te gaan, zal de tijd eerder weer gestart worden. De organisatie zal de rust tijd bijhouden.
5. Finishterrein
5.1
Het is niet toegestaan eigen alcoholische dranken en dranken die in een glas of glazen fles zitten mee te nemen op het finishterrein.
5.2
Het is niet toegestaan om confetti te verspreiden op het finishterrein. Schoonmaakkosten kunnen in rekening gebracht worden.
5.3
Boten dienen afgeriggerd te worden in de daarvoor bestemde sporters area, indien niet anders aangegeven door de organisatie.
5.4
Alleen deelnemers en de opgegeven ploegverantwoordelijke zijn toegestaan in de sporters area.
6. Klassementen
6.1
OC&C RINGVAART REGATTA
6.1.1
Over alle deelnemers bestaan er twee winnaars: een snelste damesploeg en een snelste herenploeg.
De organisatie behoudt zich het recht om de Sprintbokaal in zijn geheel af te gelasten.
6.2.5
Het Sprintbokaal voert over het laatste deel van de route van de OC&C Ringvaart Regatta, over een afstand van circa 500 meter. De finish van het sprintbokaal valt samen met de finish van de OC&C Ringvaart Regatta. De exacte route is te vinden op de website (https://ringvaartregatta.nl/index.php/wedstrijd/sprintbokaal/).
6.2.6
De boeien die geplaatst zijn langs de route dienen ter indicatie van de start van het Sprintbokaal.
6.2.7
Over alle deelnemers bestaan er twee winnaars: een snelste damesploeg en een snelste herenploeg.
Indien de wedstrijd ten gevolge van onvoorziene omstandigheden of overmacht niet kan plaatsvinden, wordt dit uiterlijk op dinsdag 28 mei 2024 om 09:00 uur gecommuniceerd naar alle deelnemers. Het evenement zal dan verroeid worden op woensdag 12 juni 2024.
7.2
Indien de wedstrijd ten gevolge van onvoorziene omstandigheden of overmacht ook niet kan plaatsvinden op 12 juni 2024, wordt mogelijk een, door het bestuur van de D.S.R.V. “Laga” van geval tot geval vast te stellen, percentage van de inschrijfgelden aan de inschrijvende ploegen gerestitueerd.
7.3
Indien de wedstrijd op 12 juni 2024 ten gevolge van onvoorziene omstandigheden of overmacht niet kan plaatsvinden, wordt het evenement op dinsdag 11 juni 2024 om 09:00 afgelast.
7.4
Door het aanbieden van een reservedatum, is restitutie van inschrijfgeld niet mogelijk bij afgelasten van het evenement op 29 mei 2024.
8. Ploeg
8.1
Volgens KNRB Huishoudelijk Reglement artikel 52 is bij deelname aan een roeiwedstrijd een medische keuring dringend geadviseerd. De controle hierop berust bij de roeivereniging waaraan deelnemer verbonden is. Deelname is op eigen risico. Reglement van KNRB is van toepassing.
8.2
Deelnemers worden geacht het reglement te kennen en zich op de hoogte te stellen van de actuele informatie op deze website. Het Binnenvaartpolitiereglement is onverkort van toepassing en “goed zeemanschap” staat voorop.
8.3
Een ploeg bestaat uit maximaal negen bemanningsleden voor een 8, uit maximaal vijf (ongestuurd; vier) bemanningsleden voor een 4, uit maximaal vier (ongestuurd; drie) bemanningsleden voor een 3, uit maximaal drie (ongestuurd; twee) bemanningsleden voor een 2, uit maximaal drie bemanningsleden voor een single wherry en uit maximaal één bemanningslid voor een skiff.
8.4
De bemanning mag tijdens de tocht niet worden gewisseld, behalve voor een single en dubbel wherry waarvoor het is toegestaan de roeier te laten ruilen met de stuur.
8.5
Voor alle ploegen geldt dat de stuur telt als bemanningslid.

1. Participation
1.1
Participation is possible by anyone from the age of 18.
1.2
The maximum number of boats is 170. Admission takes place in the order of registration. After 170 registrations, a team is placed on the reserve list, after which it is checked whether there is still sufficient capacity for these teams.

For international teams, a requested registration form has to be completed. Participation is only possible after payment of the full registration fee.
1.4
Refund of the registration fee is not possible. The organization can make exceptions in the event of force majeure.In this, the organisation has the right to return entry fees or not.
1.5
The following gender classes are determined:
Men. Women. Mixed. The team consists of as many men as women whereat the coxswain is not included. Free composition (for certain types of boats). The team consists of a random combination of men and women. If the team consists of fewer than 50% women and there is no free composition for the number that starts, the team will participate in the men’s ranking.
1.6
Each team must start in the boat type in which they are registered.
1.7
By participating in the OC&C Ringvaart Regatta, you agree that data is shared with the KNRB (Royal Dutch Rowing Federation).
2. Boat
2.1
The boat must be delivered on Monday May 27 or Tuesday 28 mei 2024 according to a schedule made by the organization (in the case of the fallback date this will be Monday June 10 or Tuesday 11 June 2023). Boats that are delivered later than Tuesday May 28 18:00 p.m. (in the case of the reserve date 11 June) will be excluded from participation without a refund of the registration fee. If you are unable to meet this requirement, you are requested to contact the OC&C Ringvaart Regatta organization as soon as possible. The following additions apply: If a boat needs to be rowed to the starting location and the weather forecast predicts that it will be unsafe to row on Tuesday May 28 (in case of the fallback date 11 June 2023), the organization has the right to let these teams deliver their boat at a different time than originally scheduled. The organization reserves the right to relocate boats on the starting site for the purpose of easing the starting procedure.
2.2
A team must take care of a boat and accessories themselves. The organization is not responsible for damage caused during the regatta.
2.3
The boat will be inspected before the start of the regatta. The organization reserves the right to exclude a boat if it does not meet the requirements.
Each boat should carry at least two sets of lights for when the boat is rowing the final part in the dark. These should be front (white) and behind (red) lights.
3. Regatta
3.1
The team must have at least one person in charge who follows the team ashore. The telephone number of this person must be known to the organization of the OC&C Ringvaart Regatta.
3.2
In the case of withdrawal from the OC&C Ringvaart Regatta, the responsible party must inform the OC&C Ringvaart Regatta management. Teams still have to take responsibility for the equipment.
3.3
During the competition the bow rower wears clothing with a signaling color (for example a fluorescent yellow shirt).
3.4
The boats get an individual start time. The times will be announced on the website on 17 May 2024.
3.5
Teams report timely before the specified start time (as communicated by the organization) for the start procedure. Arriving late at the start will be fined (€ 20 for skiff, twos and fours and € 50 for eights) and may result in exclusion.
3.6
The instructions of volunteers on the side overrule the rules above at all times. The instructions of volunteers must be followed at all times.
3.7
If you are still rowing after sunset (9:40 p.m.), you should wear a white all-around shining light. It is therefore required to bring lights for the boatBoats that row unlit after 9:40 p.m. will be disqualified. Any fines are for your own account.
3.8
The start will take place on Wednesday 29 May 2024 from 5:30 a.m. according to the timetable that will be published on the site under the heading ‘Field layout’.
3.9
An ascended team may not hinder the ascending team and must give way in time so that the ascending team is free to choose its course. Safety and sportiness must be decisive for both the ascended and the ascending team in the way they treat each other.
3.10
All boats must finish before 00:00 a.m. on the night of 29 May to 30 May 2024.
3.11
The organization reserves the right to exclude a team if, in the eyes of the organization, will not reach the end time. This applies if the team leaves stop C3 Lisse at 6:00 p.m. and stop C4 (Café Ut Dobbertje) after 7:00 p.m. Teams must then stop and moor the boat at R.V. Iris (C3) or at A.L.S.R.V. Asopos de Vliet (C4)
3.12
If follow-up teams do not adhere to the traffic rules and / or instructions of the organization and relevant authorities and thereby endanger the continuity of the event, the organization may decide to give the participating team a time penalty or disqualification and withdrawal from the regatta.
4. Route
4.1
The route has various obstacles such as low and / or narrow bridges and a lock. The bridge heights and widths can be found in the regatta magazines which can be found on the site under the heading regatta from April 29, 2024. Coxswains must know these heights and widths and know whether their team can sail underneath without bending over.
4.2
Along the route several rest area’s will be realized. At each stop a maximum docking time of 40 minutes is allowed. As this is completely voluntary, the docking time will count for the final finish time. The only stop that deviates from this is Leidschendam. Here, everyone can take a maximum 40-minute break. As long as the team takes a break, time will be stopped, if the team decides to continue earlier, time will be restarted earlier. The organisation will keep track of the rest time.
5. Finish area
5.1
It is not allowed to bring your own alcoholic drinks and drinks that are in a glass or bottle of glass to the finish area.
5.2
It is not allowed to spread confetti on the finish area. Cleaning costs can be charged.
5.3
Boats must be deconstructed in the designated athletes area, unless otherwise indicated by the organization.
5.4
Only participants and the designated team coach are allowed in the athletes area.
6. Rankings
6.1
OC&C RINGVAART REGATTA
6.1.1
There are two winners among all participating boats: a fastest women’s team and a fastest men’s team.
Everyone for whom participation is possible will automatically participate in the Sprintbokaal as soon as the registration for the OC&C Ringvaart Regatta is completed.
There are no additional costs associated with participation.
6.2.4
The organization reserves the right to cancel the sprints in its entirety.
6.2.5
The Sprintbokaal runs the last part of the route of the OC&C Ringvaart Regatta, over a distance of approximately 500 meters. The finish of the sprint bowl coincides with the finish of the OC&C Ringvaart Regatta. The exact route can be found on the website. (https://ringvaartregatta.nl/index.php/en/regatta/sprints/).
6.2.6
The buoys placed along the route serve as an indication of the start of the Sprints
6.2.7
There are two winners over all participants: a fastest women’s team and a fastest men’s team.
If the regatta cannot take place due to unforeseen circumstances or force majeure, this will be communicated to all participants at 09:00 on Tuesday 28 May 2024 at the latest. The regatta will then take place on 12 June 2024.
7.2
If, due to unforeseen circumstances or force majeure, the regatta also cannot take place on 12 June 2024, it may be decided by the board of D.S.R.V. “Laga” that a percentage (to be determined) of the rowing fees to the participating teams will be refunded.
7.3
If the competition cannot take place on 12 June 2024 due to unforeseen circumstances or force majeure, the event will be cancelled on Tuesday 11 June at 09:00.
7.4
By offering a reserve date, a refund of the registration fee is not possible if the regatta is cancelled on 29 May 2024.
8. Team
8.1
According to KNRB House Rules Article 52, a medical examination is urgently advised when participating in a rowing competition. Control of this rests with the rowing club to which the participant is affiliated. Participation is at your own risk. KNRB regulations apply.
8.2
Participants are expected to know the regulations and to be informed of the current information on this website. The “Binnenvaart Politie Reglement” (English translation: Inland Navigation Police Regulations) are fully applicable and “good seamanship” is paramount.
8.3
A team consists of a maximum of nine crew members for an 8, a maximum of five (without coxswain; four) crew members for a 4, a maximum of four (without coxswain; 3) crew members for a 3 and a maximum of three (without coxswain; two) crew members for a 2, a maximum of three crew members for a single wherry and a maximum of one crew member for a skiff.
8.4
The crew members may not be changed during the regatta, except for a single and double wherry for which it is permitted to have the rower swapped with the coxswain.
8.5
For all teams, the coxswain counts as a crew member.
